NetToolset is a set of free tools which perform basic networking tasks, many of which are available in Windows only as command-line utilities. NetToolset puts them into a graphical interface and expands upon them.
Have you ever tried to perform a WHOIS from your Windows desktop? In reality, you're normally going to have to use online services to perform this but NetToolset puts it into a graphical interface without any ads or CAPTCHAs.
This little set of tools provides for PING, Traceroute, Reverse DNS lookup, IP Whois, Domain Whois and Port Scan. The IP and Domain Whois tools look up the owner and administrators of IPs or domains which the reverse DNS lookup tool which resolve an IP address to a hostname.
Both the Ping and Traceroute utilities are standard, but don't seem to work on Windows 8 without administrator privileges.
NetToolset provides an excellent package of useful and common utilities and recommended if you need access to any of these tools.

NetToolset is provided under a freeware license on Windows from network software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 1.5.0 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can NetToolset run on?
NetToolset can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
